AA Fast Food Area Manager

We are looking for an experienced AA Fast Food Area Manager for a popular Fast-Food company in the Johannesburg area

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a minimum of 6 fast food outlets simultaneously
• Training Restaurant Managers on how to gain market share, achieve customer satisfaction, reach profit objectives and ensure customers return regularly to their stores
• Drive customer satisfaction while maintaining key company objectives (Facilities, HR, Financial, IT, risk)
• Promote effective Sales and Marketing as well as good time management
• High visibility leadership and coaching
• Complete regular store audits with relevant feedback to managers
• Ensure completion of regular store visits
• Planning of period and quarterly store audit routine
• Attendance at Operations meetings with relevant feedback to managers
• Assist managers to draw up SMART plans
• Ensure correct following of disciplinary procedures and also chairing of inquiries (presiding officer)
• Assist with the opening of new restaurants as well as store revamps/upgrades
• Consistently build and develop the various store teams
• Annual budget for the respective area
• Ensure that stores are profitable
• Manage and guide the local store marketing done by the Managers
• Handle suppliers where necessary
• Remedy escalated customer complaints efficiently
• Complete and follow up after Head Office inspections to ensure store is running as per operational guidelines
• Constantly ensure there is proper succession planning of people within the various stores

Requirements:

• Only EE candidates will be considered
• Matric/Grade 12
• Relevant Business Management Diploma or related Degree is essential
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Area Manager with Fast Food stores. Managing multiple stores at the same time (6 stores minimum)
• Previous experience with KFC, Nandos, Barcello’s or similar is preferred
• Micros/GAAP POS experience
• Valid Driver's license
• Own reliable transport
• Must be able to travel regularly

• Salary is dependent on relevant operational experience and skill set
