Our client has comprehensive experience in the fields of property development, project management and residential fund management and is seeking to employ an Accountant / Bookkeeper.
 
ROLE OVERVIEW:
 
The Accountant will work closely with the Group Financial Manager and will be responsible for assisting the Finance Department along with the Project Management Team with various tasks and processes to guarantee the financial operations of the company and projects run smoothly.
 
The successful applicant will mainly be responsible for daily bookkeeping duties including recording financial data, reconciliation of customer invoices and statements, data entry and assisting the Financial Manager with timeous and accurate reports.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recording financial transactions
• Data entry into Sage
• Preparing financial reports
• Accounts Payable
• Assist with Bank Reconciliation
• Assist with materials and stock reconciliation
• Assist with monthly management accounts and the annual audit
• Expense monitoring
• Payroll administration
• VAT

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Experience working with Sage and Xero advantageous
• Strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
