ACCOUNTANT

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors'''' degree in finance / accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years financial or management accountant experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional numerical ability.
• Management accounting.
• Advanced excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing of bank statements
Checking costing and VAT on all invoices/ value added products before transferring to ledger
Processing of Purchases journals
Processing of customer & supplier journals
Reconciling monthly creditors/ Maintenance of debtors and Creditors
Loading of payments and transfers (intercompany)
Maintenance of Intercompany Loans/Accounts
Processing monthly payslips and loading salaries for payment
Maintaining staff loans
Checking Monthly Commission sheets for Salaries payable
Capturing & maintaining staff leave
Monthly completion and submission of MIBCO (Provident Fund)
Enrolment of new employees on Mibco & completion of Mibco withdrawal forms
Completion of credit applications for new supplier accounts & follow up
Issuing Sundry invoices (insurance, inter branch)
Check Gross Profits and report to Dealer Principal/ Financial Manager
Preparing PAYE sheet for the group, on a monthly basis, to submit to SARS
Calculation and summarizing costs for deliveries
Maintaining debtors accounts and ensuring up to date
Report to various stakeholders within the Wingfield Group of Companies
Assist Financial Manager and Dealer Principal with adhoc duties
Reporting all Cash Threshold and Suspension Transactions via FIC website
