SUMMARY:
Opportunity for an AI Developer (Azure)

POSITION INFO:

Our Client is looking for an experienced AI Developer to help design, build, and run production-grade AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working end to end.

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning
Building retrievalâaugmented generation (RAG) solutions that balance accuracy, performance, and cost
Developing secure APIs and integrations using Azure API Management and Event Hub
Containerising and deploying solutions to AKS, Azure Functions, or App Service
Implementing CI/CD and MLOps practices that support iteration and safe change
Monitoring system performance, usage, and cost, and continuously improving them
Producing clear architecture documentation

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software or ML engineering
3+ years delivering AI solutions in production on Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service, RAG system design and Prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimisation
Strong data engineering fundamentals and secure integration patterns
Experience designing systems with operational considerations in mind (monitoring, support, compliance)
A practical understanding of Responsible AI, privacy, and governance
