AWS Platform Engineer – Mirand/Centurion/ Semi Remote – R550 to R750 per hour

POSITION INFO:
A Global client is seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions while driving operational excellence. Responsibilities: Understand and interpret business needs, transforming concepts into successful implementations. Design and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance AWS cloud environments. Develop and optimize CI\/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automated testing tools. Work with a wide range of AWS services, including Amazon SageMaker, API Gateway, VPC, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge, Lambda, and more. Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform and Terragrunt. Support machine learning model training, deployment, and lifecycle management. Enhance security, networking, and compliance across AWS infrastructure. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience); AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solution Architect. 5+ years in a similar role (e.g., DevOps Engineer). Strong expertise in AWS networking and security hardening. Proficiency in Python for automation and development. Hands-on experience with data engineering, ETL processes, and data storage solutions. Familiarity with ML build and release pipelines.
