POSITION INFO:
Job Description: As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, the successful candidate will help shape the future of cloud infrastructure by designing, building, and optimising enterprise-scale platforms across AWS and Azure environments. Key responsibilities include: Designing and architecting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation Developing and optimising CI\/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable software delivery Driving containerisation and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes Implementing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and platform reliability Establishing best practices around cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimisation Defining monitoring, operational processes, service delivery standards, and SLAs Supporting cloud transformation initiatives and contributing to long-term platform strategy Collaborating with software engineering and technology teams to deliver resilient production environments Identifying opportunities to enhance performance, scalability, and cloud cost management Tech Stack & Environment: AWS Microsoft Azure Terraform AWS CloudFormation Docker Kubernetes GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Bitbucket Pipelines AWS CodePipeline Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Cloud Security & Governance FinOps & Cost Optimisation Skills & Experience: Extensive experience within Information Technology, Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar IT jobs Proven experience designing, implementing, and scaling cloud-native environments Strong hands-on expertise across AWS and Azure Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and\/or CloudFormation Solid experience building and supporting CI\/CD pipelines and deployment automation Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost optimisation Demonstrated ability to lead cloud transformation initiatives Experience defining operational processes, monitoring frameworks, and service standards Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred Relevant cloud certifications advantageous Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile or to view all our Jobs in Information Technology.
