JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecommunications industry has an opportunity available for an Accelerate Programme Manager to be based in the Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-year degree/diploma in relevant discipline
A post-graduate management qualification will be advantages
Fluent in English
Certification in:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner is essential
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent advantageous
- Agile is essential
Minimum of 10 years’ experience:
- Minimum 6-8 years' managing projects end to end using PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodologies is essential
- Minimum 3 years' managing programmes end to end using PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodologies is essential
- Experience in managing project/programme teams is essential
- Proven track record of project and programme delivery is essential
- 3-5 years’ experience in taking projects to market is essential.
- Broad experience of Benefit Realisation Management is beneficial
Experience in Information Management and rolling out information architecture changes
Previous experience in managing data governance roll outs and platforms related to data management
Understanding of data monetization initiatives, how they are rolled out, managed and tracked
Strong financial understanding and good working knowledge of Information systems and IT
A proven track record in rolling out programmes that have strong Reporting and Data management component
Experience as a Scrum Master applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory is essential.
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
Working in a large organization

KPAs:

Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal and/or external stakeholders
Manage the programme throughout the programme lifecycle
Review the existing programmes and launch new programmes aligned to strategic direction, as required
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of minimum key programme documentation
Encourage and support skills development
Guide the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Adhere to Programme Management Office governance frameworks
Compile relevant project & portfolio reporting
Lead and oversee the work and production of deliverables by the Project Manager team
