Our client has an opportunity available for an Account Manager.

Requirements:

  • Willing to relocate to any part of Sub Sahar Africa.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Large company experience- essential.
  • Premium product- essential.
  • Matric qualification with mathematics.
  • Experience in a Technical environment.
  • Bilingual with proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
  • Validation of highest level of education.
  • Two valid references.
  • Valid South African driver’s license.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather information from the customer to understand their needs and detailed requirements.
  • Educate and develop internal and external customers, promoting partnerships, seeking feedback and proactively addressing customer needs and requests.
  • Expand customer buying centres and use cases, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring that all customer needs and expectations are met.
  • Develop sales action plans for targeting leads, converting them into sales.
  • Gather and disseminate competitor market intelligence.
  • Monitor partnership arrangements to ensure that the objectives of the partnership remain on target.
  • Identify related industries that may have an impact on own industry
  • Match product knowledge to the implicit needs of the customer.
  • Reach mutually acceptable solutions in straightforward, formal negotiations with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Select an approach to negotiation based on an understanding of each party’s interests and priorities.
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.
  • Coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the organization.
