POSITION INFO:
Our client is a trusted name in logistics and distribution, delivering nationwide solutions for over two decades. They are seeking a Junior Accountant to strengthen their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and contributing to a company where financial insights directly impact operational success. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting functions, assist with audits, and provide financial support to ensure smooth business flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and maintain accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts regularly.
Assist with VAT, tax submissions, and statutory returns.
Support internal and external audit processes with required documentation.
Manage cashbook entries and monthly bank reconciliations.
Provide financial insights and support to operations and management teams.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3–5 years post-qualification accounting experience.
Sound knowledge of general ledger, cashbook, and accounts payable/receivable.
Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or FMCG beneficial.
Strong systems knowledge (ERP systems preferred).
Problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a supportive finance team.
