SUMMARY:
An innovative and fast-growing organisation in the Web3 and cryptocurrency space is urgently seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and tech-savvy finance professional who is passionate about the IT and blockchain space. You’ll be working in a forward-thinking environment alongside industry leaders who are shaping the future of digital finance.

The ideal candidate should have just strong accounting fundamentals, enthusiasm for emerging technology, and a proactive, outgoing attitude!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and analysis.
Support compliance, audit, and statutory reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams on financial systems and process enhancements.
Engage with a dynamic, tech-focused environment and evolving business models.

Qualifications & Experience:

BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification required.
Minimum 2–3 years accounting experience (open to strong junior or mid-level candidates).
Highly proficient in Excel and general accounting systems.
Strong interpersonal skills — confident, energetic, and adaptable.
Interest in IT and blockchain advantageous.
Open to candidates with MPC experience or background in modern finance environments.
