SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established, proudly South African organisation operating in a fast-paced, product-based FMCG/manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong CA(SA) who is passionate about accurate reporting, operational excellence, and driving financial efficiency. Located in Swellendam, this opportunity offers a unique work/life balance surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes and a close-knit community.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards
Manage month-end and year-end financial processes
Handle inventory valuation and variance analysis within a product-based environment
Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls
Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
Prepare for and engage with external auditors
Drive operational efficiencies and provide mentorship to junior finance team members

Qualification and Skills Required:

CA(SA) with completed SAICA registration
3–5 years post-articles experience
Strong IFRS knowledge and ERP system experience (SAP or similar)
Experience in FMCG or manufacturing preferred
Skills:
– Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
– Proactive and able to work independently
– Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
