POSITION INFO:
A dynamic and fast-paced environment is looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee daily financial processing, hedge accounting, consolidations, and project-related financial workflows. If you’re detail-focused, strong in analytics, and comfortable working across multiple entities, this role offers an exciting opportunity to add real value.

Key Responsibilities:

Process daily financial transactions (AP, AR, GL)
Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and on time
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and balances
Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with liquidity planning
Compile, analyse, and present monthly financial reports
Support month-end and year-end close
Manage hedge accounting and ensure compliance with relevant standards
Coordinate hedge transactions and prepare performance reporting
Consolidate financial information across entities and business units
Reconcile and eliminate intercompany transactions
Maintain accurate records for consolidated accounts
Assist with external audits and queries
Drive improvements in systems, controls, and financial processes
Set up financial workflows for new projects

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Completed SAICA articles
Minimum 2 years’ post-articles experience (including hedge accounting & consolidations)
Strong accounting software experience and advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of cost accounting and standard costing
Multi-entity experience beneficial
