POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity
A leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) to step into a full-function Accountant role. This is a hands-on environment where most of the work is transactional — perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and managing the financial engine room directly, rather than merely reviewing or overseeing. You’ll be central to daily processing, financial accuracy, cost control, and ensuring the numbers behind production, procurement, and operations run just as efficiently as the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

Execute full-function transactional accounting with accuracy and accountability
Prepare and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Assist with tax submissions and compliance requirements
Perform variance analysis and provide cost insights to operations
Use advanced Excel skills to manage data, automate tasks, and streamline reporting
Support internal/external audits and uphold strong financial governance

What You Bring

Newly Qualified CA(SA)
Solid exposure to the manufacturing industry
Manufacturing experience beneficial (but open)
Above-average Excel proficiency — the bulk of work is Excel-based
Strong analytical capability and a detail-driven mindset
