POSITION INFO:
As the SAIPA Accountant, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for managing key accounting and reporting functions for a diverse client portfolio. This role is perfectly suited to a technically strong professional who enjoys working in a practice environment and is confident handling monthly and annual financial processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and processing of monthly and yearly financial journals.
Compiling monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
General ledger reconciliations and account maintenance.
Drafting financial statements using Draftworx.
Managing accounting records on QuickBooks.
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Assisting with audit preparation and supporting documentation.
Providing accounting support to clients and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

SAIPA qualification (essential).
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Draftworx (essential).
Experience within an accounting or advisory practice environment.
Solid understanding of monthly and annual accounting cycles.
Strong technical accounting knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Strong communication and client engagement skills.
