We’re on the hunt for a Newly Qualified CA(SA) who doesn’t just understand insurance… You rate it, reserve it, report on it, and actually enjoy it.

If you’ve done your Big 4 articles with solid insurance exposure and you light up when someone says “IFRS 17”, keep reading.

This is not a back-office, hide-behind-Excel role. This is a high-energy, high-visibility position in a business that moves fast, thinks smart, and genuinely enjoys what they do. You’ll report directly to a dynamic Financial Manager and be trusted with real responsibility from day one.

What you’ll own

Monthly management accounts that tell a story, not just show numbers
-Annual financial statements that are technically tight and audit-ready
Monthly and annual audit files that make external auditors smile
Full management of the annual external audit process
Oversight of payroll, cash flow, and the payment function
IFRS reporting with strong IFRS 17 applications
Exposure to cell captive accounting if you’ve got it in your toolkit

What we’re looking for:

Newly Qualified CA(SA)
Big 4 articles or strong insurance-specific experience
Proven IFRS expertise with strong IFRS 17 knowledge
Cell captive accounting exposure is highly advantageous
Previous payroll experience is essential
A genuine passion for the insurance industry
