POSITION INFO:

ACCOUNTANT

Paarl

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Prepare accounts up to trial balance and draft monthly management accounts.
Manage creditors and debtors, including reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Process payments and prepare supporting documentation for approval.
Handle payroll administration and submissions, including PAYE, UIF, and other statutory obligations such as VAT.
Respond to internal and external queries, liaising with SARS and other authorities as required.
Support management with financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BCom degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (SAIPA)
5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Xero
Excellent attention to detail
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving ability
Strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
