SUMMARY:
A unique dual-role opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to step into a hybrid Accountant/Executive Assistant position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance financial responsibilities with executive-level support.

POSITION INFO:
Based in Melrose, this opportunity offers exposure to both finance and executive operations within a growing and fast-moving business environment. The role requires a hands-on individual who can manage accounting functions while providing high-level administrative and strategic support to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, be highly organised, and possess strong communication skills. Mandarin language proficiency is essential, as the role involves interaction with international stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a female candidate, who is either qualified or currently studying towards a BCom degree, and looking to gain diverse exposure in both finance and executive support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day accounting functions and financial administration
Support month-end processes and maintain accurate financial records
Provide executive support, including scheduling, coordination, and communication
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including international counterparts
Assist with reporting, documentation, and general business operations
Ensure the effective organisation of executive priorities and workflows

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom degree completed or in progress
Experience:
- Open to experience level
- Exposure to accounting or finance environment beneficial
- Previous administrative or executive support experience advantageous
Skills:
- Mandarin speaking (non-negotiable)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
