POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a reputable and growing organization in Pretoria East. Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Proactively manage and monitor tenant account transactions and collections.
Reconciliations: Execute precise bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
Reporting Cycle: Support the full month-end process and monthly financial reporting cycles.
Query Resolution: Act as the point of contact for resolving financial queries and account discrepancies.
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate financial records and assist with critical system updates.
Audit Support: Play a key role in audit preparation and year-end closing processes.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities align with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

A relevant financial qualification is highly advantageous.

Experience:

Proven exposure to financial accounting or operational finance environments.
Solid experience in handling reconciliations, debtors, and transactional finance.
Industry Background: Property finance exposure is a plus, but we are also eager to meet candidates from Retail, Manufacturing, or similar commercial sectors.

Skills & Attributes:

Technical: High proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
Systems: Exposure to property management software such as MDA or MRI is a distinct advantage.
Analytical: Strong ability to interpret data and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Time Management: Ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Communication: Professional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
