POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and career-driven Accountant to join a fast-paced and supportive finance environment.

This role is ideal for a candidate who has completed SAICA or SAIPA articles and is looking to further develop their technical accounting expertise while gaining valuable commercial exposure.

You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, gaining hands-on exposure across a broad range of accounting and reporting functions while building a strong foundation for your future career growth.

This role is based in Wadeville, Germiston.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and maintain accurate financial transactions and general ledger records
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
Prepare reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial reports
Support statutory and regulatory submissions, including VAT and PAYE
Assist with internal and external audit requirements
Apply accounting standards and IFRS principles within daily financial operations
Ensure accuracy and compliance across financial processes and reporting
Assist with ad hoc finance and accounting duties as required

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
BCom Accounting or related qualification
1–2 years’ post-articles experience advantageous
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage, Pastel, or Xero
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Professional, deadline-driven, and eager to learn and grow
