POSITION INFO:

A forward-thinking, multinational organisation is looking for a driven Accountant to support and enhance its financial operations. This role offers excellent exposure to core accounting functions, compliance, and reporting across international structures, providing a strong foundation for growth within a commercial environment. You will work closely with the Financial Manager and gain hands-on experience across key finance processes within a global business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support budgeting processes and financial planning activities
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Prepare and assist with financial reporting requirements
Conduct tax compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
Assist with VAT submissions and related processes
Analyse foreign exchange movements and report on variances
Co-ordinate and support external audit processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Completed SAICA articles or CA(SA) qualification
3 years’ audit firm experience
Essential: Proven exposure to a multinational environment
Exposure to a commercial environment is advantageous
Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
