POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a technically strong Accountant who has hands-on experience supporting or delivering SAP implementations within the insurance sector. The successful candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with systems implementation experience, ensuring the successful transformation of financial processes while maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Play a key role in the implementation and transformation of SAP within the finance function Partner with finance and project teams to deliver successful accounting system implementation milestones Provide accounting expertise throughout the system transformation process Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Monitor and analyse profit and loss reporting Support solvency reporting requirements within the insurance environment Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project deliverables Utilise SAP and advanced Excel to support financial reporting and operational requirements Drive continuous process improvements and optimise financial reporting processes Participate in project management activities related to finance transformation initiatives Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent accounting qualification 2-4 years' accounting experience Proven insurance industry experience is essential Hands-on SAP implementation and finance transformation experience is non-negotiable Demonstrated experience working on accounting system implementations or transformation projects Strong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss reporting, and solvency reporting Advanced Excel skills Project management experience will be advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a project-driven environment Apply now!
