Our client is looking for a driven and detail-focused Accountant to join their finance team in Pretoria. This opportunity is suited to an accounting professional who is comfortable working across the full accounting function and enjoys being involved in reporting, reconciliations, month-end processes and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end accounting processes, including journals, accruals and reconciliations. Prepare management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled. Assist with VAT, tax, audit and statutory requirements. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis where required. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting. Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting, Finance or related qualification. 3+ years' experience in a full-function accounting role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with reconciliations, month-end processes and statutory requirements. Good Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to ERP\/accounting systems. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
