POSITION INFO:
A well-established property investment company is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and supporting month-end financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Capture and process supplier invoices accurately Maintain general ledger accounts up to trial balance Perform monthly bank reconciliations Reconcile intercompany loan accounts across group entities Reconcile creditor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare and load payment batches for approval Perform month-end procedures, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions Complete utility reconciliations, including water, electricity, and recoveries Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data on the MDA Property Management System Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar accounting role Essential experience on the MDA Property Management System Power BI experience is essential Strong accounting knowledge up to trial balance Advanced Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Apply now!
