JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a well known FMCG importer and retailer requires an Accountant, 2-3 years post completed articles, to join their company based in Randburg.

Duties included, but are not limited to:

Entire accounting process, including:

Full accounting function up to trail balance
Debtors & Creditors (Invoicing , recons, collections)
Processing from bank statements and petty cash
Supplier invoice processing
Bank reconciliations
Scrutinisation of general ledger to identify outlying transactions
Daily cash flow management and forecasting
Inventory reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset register ( depreciation / insurance )
VAT reporting and submission
PAYE reporting and submission
Monthly management reporting and feedback
Imports Related Accounting
Financial Statements
Liaise with bank and auditors

Requirements:

BCom accounting degree (candidates with an Honours will receive preference)
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) - a completed degree with SAIPA articles are prerequisite
Post article experience of atleast 2-3 years required
Own transport with valid driver's license.
Xero Accounting system experience advantageous
Proficient Excel knowledge
