JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist with preparing monthly management accounts
Perform full audit on invoices before processing
Count and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis
Prepare full creditors audit file for review by the Financial Manager
Perform full finance function up to management accounts
Ensure the maintenance and integrity of the Fixed Asset Register
Update Sage Evolution control accounts and reconciliations weekly
Audit, control and process all supplier invoices
Assist with compiling monthly balance sheet reconciliation file
Perform spot checks on stock counted to ensure accuracy
Ensure all invoices have approved orders and are captured within the deadline
Perform monthly supplier reconciliations in age analysis
Ensure stock receiving system and procedures are followed
Compile monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist monthly with VAT payable/receivable
Oversee debtors and creditors
Capture invoices on Sage Evolution
Ensure all suppliers are reconciled before payment
Assist Financial Managers with all audit queries
Correctly update cashbook

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2-3 Years experience as a Financial Accountant
Experience with ERP systems non negotiable
Knowledge of Sage Evolution and Opera beneficial
Adaptable and assertive individual
Good attention to detail
Cost Control experienced beneficial

Qualification:
Completed SAIPA Articles
OR
Bcom in Accounting, Financial Accounting or Financial Management
