JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Process sales invoices, debit notes, and intercompany accounts and balance them monthly
Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP
Manage the company’s balance sheet and accounting books
Complete and submit VAT returns
Capture and reconcile all bank transactions
Ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management
Follow up with customers timeously regarding outstanding accounts
Collect, analyse, summarize account information, and prepare special financial reports
Assist the Finance Manager regarding all short-term insurance claims and policies
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
Ensure financial records and statements comply with regulations and laws
Perform debtors reconciliations monthly
Maintain and develop the financial accounting records, documents, and systems
Maintain financial security by following internal controls
Load all bank payments as required
Ensure all finance filing is accurate and up to date

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1-3 Years of experience in a similar role
Minimum of 1 year experience using Navision
Navision experience beneficial
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a pressurized environment
Innovative individual who is detail orientated with high attention to detail

Qualification:
SAIPA OR SAICA Articles
OR
BCom Accounting or Financial Management
