SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic and growing FMCG group as an Accountant. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can manage financial processes within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full accounting function, including reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and month-end processes
Prepare accurate financial statements and assist with audits
Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
Provide financial insights to support business decisions
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BCom degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within FMCG or a related sector
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and statutory compliance
Excellent proficiency in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
Computer literate (Excel, accounting software such as Pastel, Xero, or Sage)
