JOB SUMMARY:
A leading independent power producer operating across the African continent is looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) with one-year post articles experience to join their team as the Accountant.

The accountant in their team is responsible for ensuring that the accounting and financial reporting for the organisations powerplants are maintained accurately and timeously. As the accountant, you would partner with the operations team to pioneer performance and drive the efficiency of the power plants.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Prepare and manage transactional and reporting process
Management of cash flow
Statutory and compliance reporting
Budgeting and forecasting
Adhoc tasks as requested

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric
BCom/BCom Honours
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Minimum one-year post articles experience
Articles completed within one of the big four audit firms will be highly beneficial
Experience in a shared services environment will be advantageous
Experience in a multi-entity would be preferred
Experience working with an ERP system

Skills & Competencies:

Sound technical and business acumen
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Adaptable
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Logical problem-solving skills
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel
