Opportunity for an Accountant (Fixed assets)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

One of South Africa’s largest manufacturing concerns is recruiting for an Accountant (Fixed assets). This company has been operating for over 40 years. The ideal candidate will have in depth experience in fixed assets and forecasting. If you are looking for the opportunity to spread your wings then this career move is for you.

Duties:

Responsible for cash flow projections
Reporting
Forecasting
Prepare fixed asset financial notes in accordance with IFRS
Record purchases and sales of corporate fixed assets
Conduct periodic inventories of all fixed assets
Update the fixed asset system

Education and Experience:

BCom Accounting
At least 3 years in a similar role
Fixed assets experience is essential

Skill:

IFRS 16
