SUMMARY:
Weâre seeking a detail-driven Financial Accountant to manage reporting, compliance and insights that support sound financial decision-making and organisational performance.

POSITION INFO:
Work with a leading organisation with a strong market reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly trial balances and management accounts
Perform budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Ensure IFRS and tax compliance, including VAT and PAYE submissions
Maintain the integrity of balance sheet reconciliations
Coordinate the month-end close process, including debtors, creditors, inventory/GRNI, fixed assets and the general ledger
Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital
Compile audit files and liaise with external auditors
Support the implementation and enhancement of internal controls and financial policies
Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions

Skills & Requirements:
BCom in Accounting/Finance (Honours or CTA advantageous)
Professional registration such as AGA(SA), SAIPA, CIMA or similar is advantageous
3+ years experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role (manufacturing or consumer goods industry ideal)
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, PAYE and statutory compliance
