SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their dynamic hospitality group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of multiple hospitality venues, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will work closely with the finance team to support daily operations, monthly reconciliations, and financial planning processes.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers for each property
Process accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly/monthly financial reports
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with VAT and other statutory requirements
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience, in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, or similar)
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
