SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a driven Reserving Actuarial Analyst to join a reputable insurance environment, gain exposure to SAM and IFRS 17, and broaden their actuarial skill set across reserving, pricing, and capital.

POSITION INFO:

You will work alongside experienced actuaries and be involved in high-impact regulatory and business-critical work. Key Responsibilities:

Perform reserving calculations and quarterly/annual reserving reviews
Assist with regulatory and financial reporting under SAM and IFRS 17
Support assumption setting, model development, and result analysis
Collaborate with pricing, capital, and finance teams on actuarial projects

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- Minimum of 6 actuarial exams passed
Experience:
- At least 3 years’ actuarial experience
- Proven experience in reserving
- Exposure to SAM and IFRS 17
- Insurance industry experience is advantageous
- Pricing and/or capital experience is a strong advantage
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using actuarial and statistical tools (e.g. Excel; actuarial software advantageous)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
