Actuarial Manager – Non-Life Insurance
Consulting Environment
Johannesburg

They are looking for a Non-Life Actuarial Manager who will work closely with a diverse team of experts across insurance, risk, and data analytics. You’ll be part of a dynamic consulting environment that gives you exposure to multiple clients, technical challenges, and opportunities for professional growth

What You’ll Do:

Lead and deliver actuarial projects across the non-life insurance sector (including pricing, reserving, capital modelling, and IFRS 17).
Manage and mentor a team of Junior Actuarial Analysts.
Provide strategic insights to clients through advanced data analysis and modelling.
Collaborate with audit, risk, and advisory teams on cross-functional projects.
Support business development and contribute to thought leadership in the actuarial field.

What We’re Looking For:

Nearly or newly qualified Actuary (FASSA or equivalent).
4–6 years’ experience in non-life/general insurance.
Strong technical background in actuarial modelling, data analytics, and reserving.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Consulting experience would be advantageous.
