JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity available in the life insurance industry for a nearly/recently qualified actuarial candidate that is looking to make a shift from technical to more reporting work.

Job & Company Description:
My client, a long standing competitor in the insurance space is looking to provide a great opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified actuary. The ideal candidate will be heavily involved in financial reporting team while constantly striving for improvement in the organization’s actuarial reporting process and integration. Key duties will also include enhancement of models and processes that produce IFRS/FSV and MCEV reporting, participating in IFRS 17 projects as well as assisting with ad hoc requests from wider business areas. The successful candidate must be results driven, able to take initiative, have high accountability and have a desire to constantly improve and gain more knowledge.

Education:

BSc Actuarial Degree
Nearly or recently qualified Actuary
Honours Degree will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

4+ years’ actuarial experience in the Life insurance industry
Valuations experience will be advantageous
Strong technical financial understanding of life insurance products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to meet deadlines with little to no supervision
