SUMMARY:
Remuneration: R30 000 negotiable, depending on knowledge and skill set

Purpose Of The Job:

Our client is looking for a highly capable Admin / Operations Manager with proven experience within the autobody sector. This role requires a hands-on individual who understands both workshop operations and administrative management, ensuring seamless coordination between the repair facility and front-office functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the business
Lead and manage a team, ensuring performance standards are maintained
Ensure efficient office operations and smooth workflow across departments
Review, manage, and maintain contracts, legal documentation, and related records
Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure service delivery compliance
Coordinate and facilitate internal as well as external audit processes
Administer and maintain operational, compliance, and reporting portals
Assist with HR-related administration, including staff records, leave tracking, and policy compliance
Perform finance-related administrative functions such as reconciliations, reporting, and basic financial oversight
Ensure company policies, operational procedures, and legislative requirements are consistently followed
Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and administrative processes

Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience within the autobody / panel beating industry in an administrative or operational management capacity is essential
Strong knowledge and experience working on TMS (Tracking/Management Systems)
Sound understanding of Sage accounting software
Audatex certification and/or practical experience required
Demonstrated experience managing both workshop and office-based teams
