Agile Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
We’re seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work within an Agile environment to analyse business needs, translate them into actionable user stories and ensure that solutions deliver measurable value.

Requirements

• A degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
• Business Analysis certification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an Agile environment
• Proven experience working within financial services (insurance) industry is an advantage
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Proficient in Agile delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., backlog management, workflow tracking, documentation platforms)
• Solid understanding of systems integration, data flow design, and interface documentation
• Excellent skills in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder engagement
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Support backlog prioritisation and alignment to strategic business outcomes
• Ensure requirements traceability and effective communication between business and technical teams
• Contribute to testing activities including UAT planning and validation
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure continuous improvement
