POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join their team in Cape town on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, competitive rates and an excellent working environment.

As an Agile Delivery Manager, you''ll be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with other teams to ensure the projects are running smoothly and efficiently. You should have experience working in a fast-paced environment where you''re always challenged by new projects and deadlines. Experience with Scrum or SAFe is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Supports the daily management of related Agile projects, ensuring that each of these projects is properly scoped and effective for the specific Agile methodology.
• Provides agile delivery guidance to project teams.
• Creates or maintains work items within the Project Management tools.
• Creates release plans that satisfy the needs of the organization.
• Creates project designs that accurately predict technical requirements.
• The Agile Delivery Manager is accountable for all project delivery activities to the business stakeholders at director and senior executive level
• Ensures that organizational, team, and delivery processes are up to date and effective.
• Collaborates with business leaders to provide business value throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience in Agile delivery in large corporate environments
• Experience working with teams to create high quality software products preferred.
• SAFe certified or experience (or other scaled agile frameworks)
• 2 years experience working with Agile toolsets (eg, Jira, Aha etc)
• Successful delivery of over 50 individuals comprised of business and technology solution components
