Airbnb Property Manager - Greater uMhlathuze Area

SUMMARY:
To actively operate and manage one or more properties rented out to guests on vacation, business trips or special occasions basis. The role is responsible for marketing properties, growing reservations and booking stays, as well taking accountability for many of the day-to-day cleaning, stocking, and key exchange responsibilities.

POSITION INFO:
Duties

• Market rentals to grow reservations, supplying ads with exceptional pictures and descriptions
• Maintain a calendar of reservations to prevent double-bookings and view upcoming rentals
• Clean rentals, restock necessities, and explain house rules to new guests
• Answer guest questions and meet with guests to exchange keys at the beginning of stays
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on properties
• Manage staff employed to perform various tasks related to the ongoing upkeep and care of the properties including where applicable, laundry, cleaning, garden and premises maintenance, and/or guarding services
• Administer the Airbnb office and provide owners with regular and on going feedback and updates on activities of the properties in their portfolio

• Matric with industry specific courses and experience and/or tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management
• five years’ experience
• Previous experience in a hospitality establishment such running a hotel, BnB and/or a lodge will be advantageous
• Proficiency in English is a requirement whilst fluency in one or more other South African language will be an added advantage,
• Computer literacy and social media competency is a must as is possession of a valid driver’s licence with more than five years driving experience,
• The role will involve driving in between properties whilst the base will be at one of the properties with all the necessary office resources and equipment.
