Analytics Lead - Johannesburg or Pretoria (Hybrid)

POSITION INFO:
Contract: 6 to 12 months (negotiable based on project scope) Working Model Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote per week Purpose Our client is seeking an experienced Analytics Lead to drive the enterprise Analytics capability. The successful candidate will define the analytics strategy and deliver trusted business insights, self-service analytics, and executive reporting that enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the enterprise Analytics strategy and roadmap. Lead and develop the Business Intelligence and Analytics team. Deliver executive dashboards, reporting, and actionable business insights. Enable self-service analytics and data visualisation across the business. Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions. Establish reporting standards, data quality, and governance practices. Drive the adoption of Microsoft Power BI and modern analytics capabilities. Mentor analytics professionals and promote a data-driven culture. Requirements 8+ years' experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence. 3+ years' experience leading Analytics or Business Intelligence teams. Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI. Strong SQL and data modelling skills. Experience with DAX and Power Query. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is preferred. Proven Business Intelligence leadership experience. Strong data visualisation and storytelling capabilities. Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
