SUMMARY:
Offices are based in Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort

The appliance Claims Administrator will be responsible to ensure that the claims are processed according to the rules, benefits and conditions of the policy Brief. The administrator will be required to handle mechanical and electrical claims mainly White appliances, Brown appliances, Gate, Garage and Pool Motors as well as Plumbing and Electrical claims. The Incident administrator must have a strong customer care background, claims management experience within short-term insurance.

POSITION INFO:

Main Outputs and Responsibilities

Claims Processing

Upon on receipt of claim, make contact with the client within given
time frame.
Virtually evaluate and troubleshoot problems telephonically.
Identifying the cause of appliance breakdown where possible.
Provide repair options, and timeframes to clients, taking into
account any product warranties.
Ensure all policy limitations, waiting periods, exclusions are
appropriate and in line with active policy.
Process a claim accurately upon Smart repair appointment on the
Smarthome repair system.
Appoint technicians to physically assess the damage where
necessary.
Ensure necessary follow ups are done timeously to avoid follow
ups.
Required acceptable average performance levels are achieved
and maintained as per the company key performance indicators Attend to customer queries
Any other duties as requested by the company from time to time

Ensure targets are met with regards to the Average turn around
times as set out by management on a monthly basis
