Software Electronic engineer required for company based in Randburg. Require an Electronic Engineer with solid skills in embedded programming and a good understanding of GUI.Must have skills in C#; C++ and database development or understand interface to the front end side . Well established client base in the Railway, Commercial, Military vehicle field.

Software Electronic Engineer

Randburg

Software Engineer required to play an intergral part in the development of a variety of Products

Company has been in the industry for over 20 years. Development of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Eng in Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering
• No B. Tech Degrees will be accepted
• 3-5 years of experience in software and firmware development 
• Must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and have an eye for details

Must have experience in:

• Programming skills in C and C++ as well as C#
• Windows configuration and testing programs.
• GUI
• Linux and Windows operating systems 

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Application development on the Products ( will work in collaboration with other electronic (hardware and software) engineers to do product design 
• Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support
• Overall goal is to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
• Create and test software prototypes
• Develop client displays and user interfaces
