SUMMARY:
Software Electronic engineer required for company based in Randburg. Require an Electronic Engineer with solid skills in embedded programming and a good understanding of GUI.Must have skills in C#; C++ and database development or understand interface to the front end side . Well established client base in the Railway, Commercial, Military vehicle field.

POSITION INFO:

Software Electronic Engineer

Randburg

Software Engineer required to play an intergral part in the development of a variety of Products

Company has been in the industry for over 20 years. Development of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

B.Eng in Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering
No B. Tech Degrees will be accepted
3-5 years of experience in software and firmware development
Must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and have an eye for details

Must have experience in:

Programming skills in C and C++ as well as C#
Windows configuration and testing programs.
GUI
Linux and Windows operating systems

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Application development on the Products ( will work in collaboration with other electronic (hardware and software) engineers to do product design
Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support
Overall goal is to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software
Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
Create and test software prototypes
Develop client displays and user interfaces
