SUMMARY:
Assistant Internal Auditor: East Rand

POSITION INFO:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Internal Auditor and Senior Internal Auditor in the internal audit programme and ensuring the planned audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and the monitoring of compliance to an operational framework of policies, procedures and controls are completed within the required time and deadlines.

This is a trainee position, and the role exposes the incumbent to all functions within the business to provide all-rounded knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures.

Travelling to different sites will be required from time to time (Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape & Western Cape)

Must have their own vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.

Languages: Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 (Essential) (BCom Honors Degree would be advantageous)

At least 3 years relevant experience (Operational Execution)

Auditing as a subject in qualification

Knowledge of IFRS

Knowledge of IPPF (Internal Audit Standards)

Exposure and experience in a manufacturing and stock management environment (experience in an FMCG environment is a must)
