JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the packaging industry, has an opportunity available for an Assistant Printing Manager to be based in the Pretoria area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification (National Certificate Vocational, Senior Certificate).
5 years’ experience in Flexographic printing.
3 years’ experience in a Management role.
5 years’ experience using CI printing machines.
Qualifications in Flexographic printing.
Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous.
Computer literate and competent in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, implementing, and managing the company’s entire process of flexo printing production.
Direct, oversee and participate in the work plan – assign work and monitor the workflow and project status
Ensure that printing production targets are met
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Ensure compliance to the ISO Management System
Monitor and maintain the quality of orders
Monitor the use and inventories of relevant materials and initiate orders where necessary
Assist in initiating the planning of preventative maintenance
Daily production report compilation
People management
