SUMMARY:
We are seeking a commercially strong and driven Corporate Finance / Valuations professional to join a dynamic investment environment. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with solid post-articles experience in corporate finance and company valuations, coupled with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with portfolio companies and stakeholders at a professional level. This opportunity is suited to a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

CA(SA) - Essential
Post articles experience of at least 3 years
Corporate finance for a minimum of 2 years;
2 years experience in a Valuation role
Has a detailed understanding and application of the various valuation techniques including but not limited to discounted cash flow (“DCF”), enterprise value (“EV”) to earnings before taxation, interest, depreciation & amortisation (“EBITDA”), EV to earnings before taxation & interest (“EBIT”), price to earnings (“PE”) & price to net asset value (“P/NAV”). - Essential
Has a detailed understanding and application of financial statement and company analysis.
Has the ability to complete a thorough due diligence investigation.
Has the ability to complete a discussion paper.
Has the ability to complete a transaction proposal.
Is responsible for Portfolio Company reporting.
Effectively liaises with Portfolio Companies.
Timeous delivery and meeting of deadlines.
Tenacity and a high standard of work ethic.
General communication skills and a team player.
