JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has a senior position available for an Audit Inspector.

Requirements:

CA(SA) trained in a public practice.
RA registration would be advantageous.
Private Sector or IFRS audit experience is essential.
6 years post qualification experience.
Experience as a senior manager in an external audit firm.
Experience in auditing and financial reporting standards.
Experience in the financial and banking system would be advantageous.

KPAs:

Participating in the team planning and scoping of risk-based inspections.
Inspecting planned audit engagements and quality control policies and procedures.
Regular interactions with audit firms and discussing findings with the engagement partners and leadership of the firms.
Demonstrating a high degree of independence and professional judgement.
Researching and consulting internally on technical matters.
Preparing high quality reports to be presented to the Inspections committee.
Preparing high quality inspection files with evidence of inspections.
Ensure that all INSCOM queries are cleared and provide context and present if required at INSCOM meetings.
Assist Senior Inspectors in training new inspectors.
Participating in relevant projects.
Assist with input on the public inspections report.
Provide inputs on all the files quarterly.
