SUMMARY:
DBN000094 - Senior Auditor – Durban North

Purpose of the job:
Processing accounting records into Xero for accurate financial reporting. Preparing annual financial statements for CCs, trusts, sole proprietors, and Body Corporates. Managing statutory returns (PAYE, UIF, SDL, VAT, Workman's Compensation) and annual IRP5s/EMP501 submissions. Maintaining working paper files and liaising directly with clients. Working independently with managerial review.

Required Qualifications

BCom Accounting Degree

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Financial Statements: Help prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other reports. / General Journals.
Reconcile debtors/creditors statement, process journal.
Correct accounting treatment on disposal of assets.
Analyse trial balances and discuss results.
Issuing of IRP5's and IT3's and recon of EMP501.
Supervise and initiating process of client information.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Maintain records, issue invoices, and reconcile accounts.
Completion of statutory returns; UIF, SDL, PAYE, VAT.

Behavioural Competencies:

Supervisory skills, strong Accounting, taxation and Auditing knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
Trustworthy, decisive, ability to prioritise and accurate.
