SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking an Automation Engineer to join
their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 1 - 10 years of experience in automation or control systems engineering.
Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.

Beneficial requirements:

Personal Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Skills:

Proficiency in PLC programming and control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Experience with SCADA and process control systems.

Duties and responsibilities:

Implement and maintain automation systems for industrial processes.
Program PLCs and control systems to improve system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation systems.
