Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Enhance and optimise automation processes across applications and systems.
Execute automation test suites and analyse results to identify defects.
Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and DevOps teams to drive quality improvements.
Implement automation within CI/CD pipelines.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Relevant IT Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.

Experience:

3+ years’ experience as an Automation Engineer.
Strong automation tool experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar).
Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
API automation experience (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and agile frameworks.

Nice to Have:

Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6.
ISTQB or any relevant test automation certifications.
