SUMMARY:
Automation Test Lead (Senior)

We’re looking for a seasoned Automation Test Lead to drive testing excellence within a fast-paced DevOps environment. This senior role involves leading a team of Test Analysts, managing automation frameworks, and collaborating across agile teams to ensure robust, scalable testing solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Location: Hybrid – Pretoria, South Africa
Contract Duration: 2 Years

Key Skills Required:

Strong grasp of systems engineering and process analysis
Experience managing test teams in DevOps setups
Proficiency in Cypress, Quarkus, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
Solid understanding of reporting, modelling, and test case creation
Familiarity with Kibana, Grafana, and Agile methodologies

Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years in IT testing roles
Relevant degree and Agile working experience

Core Responsibilities:

Lead test planning, execution, and reporting across SIT and UAT phases
Maintain and execute automated regression packs
Collaborate with developers on unit testing automation
Coordinate test data creation and defect resolution
Act as the bridge between testers and developers
