Purpose Of The Job:
 
To develop, maintain, and grow fleet vehicle sales by building strong relationships with corporate, government, rental, and commercial customers. The Fleet Specialist is responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing fleet accounts, preparing quotations and tenders, coordinating vehicle deliveries, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Fleet Sales Development Identify and pursue new fleet sales opportunities Build and maintain relationships with corporate, government, and commercial clients Conduct regular client visits and presentations Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual fleet sales targets Generate leads through networking, referrals, and market research Account Management Manage existing fleet customer accounts Conduct regular account reviews and customer satisfaction meetings Understand customer fleet requirements and recommend suitable vehicle solutions Develop long-term business partnerships to secure repeat business Tender and Quotation Management Prepare accurate quotations and vehicle proposals Manage tender submissions and contract negotiations Ensure pricing structures meet dealership profitability requirements Monitor competitor activity and market trends Vehicle Delivery Coordination Liaise with stock control, finance, and service departments Coordinate vehicle ordering, preparation, registration, and delivery Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately Manage fleet handovers and customer training where required Administration and Reporting Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system Produce regular sales pipeline and activity reports Monitor fleet order status and communicate updates to customers Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies Customer Service Provide professional after-sales support Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively Coordinate service, maintenance, and replacement vehicle requirements where applicable Minimum Requirements: Matric \/ Grade 12 3 to 4 years automotive fleet sales experience Experience dealing with corporate accounts and large vehicle purchases Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Automotive industry and vehicle specifications Fleet management principles Vehicle financing and leasing options Tender processes and contract management CRM systems and sales reporting tools Market trends and competitor analysis Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
